If any loophole is found within the rules listed below, please inform the Administrative Staff or Owners and the rule in question will be corrected. If it is discovered that a loophole has been found and has been abused, the user who abused the loophole will be punished. The punishment will vary depending on the rule in which the loophole was discovered.

Rule 1 - No NSFW Content

NSFW content will not be tolerated under any circumstances or in any form. This includes any form of NSFW message, Nickname, Username, Profile Picture, Pictures, etc.

Punishment: A Ban from the server (in the case of a Staff Member, the Staff role will be revoked along with a ban from the server). The ban may be temporary or permanent, the type depends on the severity of the content. The length of the temporary ban is to be determined by the Administrative Staff dispensing the punishment. Rule 2 - Be Respectful/Limit Explicit Speech and Troublesome Topics

Part A: Respect towards staff and fellow users is paramount. Treat others with kindness, empathy, and consideration at all times. Do not engage in belittling, degrading, or disrespectful behavior towards any individual based on their beliefs, identity, or any other attribute.

Part B: Refrain from using profanity in public discord channels or in the public Minecraft chats. Avoid discussing topics that might cause distress or harm others in public discord channels or in the public Minecraft Chat.

Rule 3 - No Advertising other Servers/No Head Hunting

Part A: Do not promote or advertise any other server unless already approved or before asking the server owner, @brotherbear or @joeyfogas, for permission.

Part B: "Head-hunting" or knowingly inviting or advertising Nova Gilded Aegis (NGA) on any other Minecraft server or related servers is prohibited. This is to maintain our reputation as a server.

Do not spam in the chats. This includes spamming text chats or voice messages in addition to spamming pictures, memes, gifs, or any other form of media in an unreasonable amount of time. Try to use the designated channels to post such things.

Rule 6 - No Spamming Staff or other Users

Do not spam ping any user without prior permission or requesting a staff member. In the case of requesting a staff member, please ping your desired staff once every hour until you receive a response. If you are wanting to report an issue with the server or on the discord, please first make a ticket in the designated ticketing system. Please Refrain from DMing either the Owners or any of the Administrative Staff or Staff members unless you have received permission from the Administrative Staff or Staff member you are wishing to DM.

Rule 7 - Personal Information

Do not leak other user’s personal information of any kind. Due to the very real threat that breaking this rule can jeopardize the privacy and possible safety of the affected user, the punishment will fit the rule.

Rule 8 - Chat Language

While the staff consists of a diverse group, the one language we all have in common is English.
English is the only language to be spoken in chat, so the staff as a whole can properly moderate things.
Other languages via DMs are fine, however public channels are to remain English.

Administrative Staff Privilege

The Administrative Staff maintain the right and authority granted by the server owners to dispense punishments as per the listed punishment of the rule broken. The Administrative Staff are permitted and authorized by the Owners to determine whether or not a rule has been broken. If you feel you have not broken a rule, you are allowed to submit an appeal to the Owners. If no punishment is listed for a rule, the Administrative Staff maintain the right to dispense judgment as they see fit.

What version of Minecraft does Nova Gilded Aegis run?

We run on the latest version on Minecraft and support Bedrock and Java Editions.

Can I Invite my friends to play?

We do encourage friend invites; however, we discourage advertising on other servers.

How do I report rule Violations or Issues?

To report a player or game issue, you may contact a staff member in-game or submit a ticket on our Discord.

Are there any specific guidelines for building on the server?

Yes. Players are prohibited from building within 5 chunks of another player’s claim border.

How do I protect my builds?

Yes, we do use the land claiming feature. A golden shovel is used to mark claim corners by right clicking with it in hand. Builds and containers within your claim will be protected from other players. Builds and containers not claimed are not protected and considered fair game to loot.

What are the main gameplay modes available on our server?

As of now, Nova Gilded Aegis offers a Survival Multiplayer mode. More modes will be added in the future.

How does our server handle PvP (Player vs. Player) interactions?

Players can toggle pvp in-game to allow for fights in any unprotected area of the world. Alternatively, players can utilize the /duel command to battle in arenas with predefined kits.

Are there any special abilities or skills players can unlock?

Players can unlock a variety of skills and commands through voting or supporting the server by purchasing a rank from our webstore. A full list of the perks available can be found on our website.

Can you explain the economy system on our server?

Players are able to sell loot to the server shop and/or open up a player shop to earn money. The money used in-game can purchase items from the admin shop, player shops or auction house. Players may also offer private transactions for items in exchange for in-game currency.

I voted but did not get a key. What should I do?

The server does not award physical keys, rather virtual keys. The keys you have should be displayed on the hologram over the crate you wish to redeem. If you believe there is an issue, then please submit a discord ticket so the administrators can look into it.

What are some basic commands every player should know on our server?

/help: Displays a list of available commands or provides information about a specific command.

/spawn: Teleports the player to the spawn point of the server.

/home: Teleports the player to their set home location.

/sethome: Sets the player's current location as their home point.

/tpa [player]: Sends a teleport request to another player.

/tpaccept: Accepts a pending teleport request from another player.

/tpdeny: Denies a pending teleport request from another player.

/warp [warpname]: Teleports the player to a predefined warp point on the server.

/msg [player] [message]: Sends a private message to another player.

/r [message]: Quickly replies to the last player who messaged you privately.

/bal: Checks the player's current balance in the server's economy system.

/pay [player] [amount]: Sends money from your balance to another player's balance.

/shop: Opens the server's shop GUI for buying and selling items.
